Have you ever set out to just stop sinning? To be fully committed to following Jesus with every breath and every step? How long were you able to sustain that resolve? Not so easy, right?

Why? We are not exactly living in neutral territory. There are very real forces working against us, invisible spiritual forces. What if we could discover a better way than merely thrashing against their insistent pull?

Is there a solution other than mustering up better will power? There is. We can stand our ground in saying no to the enemies by saying yes to what God provides. The enemies’ counterfeit substitutes pale by comparison to the richness of God “real deal.”
