The Bible promises that as God’s people, peace, joy, hope, and contentment are ours through Jesus Christ. Sadly however, our reality is instead all too often characterized by turmoil, fear, or dissatisfaction. What has happened to us?

We’ve been robbed. The perpetrators are three powerful enemies: Satan, the World, and the Flesh, who work in tandem to exchange our valuable inheritance with a worthless counterfeit. And when the deed is done, we are left with nothing but their empty promises.

How do we protect ourselves from their fraudulent scheme? We must understand and embrace what God has already given us. When we do, the enemy’s offers will be exposed for the shabby substitutes they are: a perverted, corrupt version of what’s good and truly satisfying.
